Yoga

Our Variety Is Our Strength

Whether you are a beginner, just starting out, or someone seasoned in their practice, we have a class that is right for you.

Deep Stretch

Breathing and Stretching...ahhh! In this class, we will explore the vast world of dynamic and passive "floor" postures and mindful breath-work (pranayama). This class will have limited flows and standing postures if any. The focus is on poses close to the earth along with guided breath-work (pranayama). This class is a nice complement to more intense forms of practice. A comforting relief and mini-holistic retreat for your mind, body, and soul. Ultimately, you will leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. This practice offers to move stuck energy and draw awareness from the mind to the heart and body. This class is accessible to all. (Low intensity)

Gentle Flow

This is a slower paced class focusing on the foundational postures. Instructors will break down poses and hold them longer, ensuring sound body position. Variations and modifications are offered so advanced students can still find benefit. We will try to get out of the mind and into the body with this calming class. Students can expect to find stress-relief while gently stretching and strengthening the body. The emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and body. Asanas are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. This meditative practice will gently wake the body as it stills the mind. Recommended for all levels looking for a soothing, relaxing, mindfulness experience and especially those newer to yoga or working with special concerns or injuries. (Low intensity)

The goal is releasing and restoring the body and mind. The student will hold poses for longer duration with the support of props to rest, relax, and restore the body. Relax, unwind, and reset the body and mind. This class warms you up with a series of Sun Salutations, and continues to build strength and balance through mostly standing postures. This style of class synchronizes breath with movement to create some internal heat, thereby purifying the body while calming the mind. It increases endurance and allows you to test the edge of your balance and flexibility. Students can expect some movement along with flexibility. Modifications are offered in a way that accommodates the beginner yet challenges the advanced. (Low to Medium intensity)

Yoga Nidra

Yoga nidra translates to yoga sleep. While resting in savasana or another comfortable reclined position of your choice, you will be gently guided through intention setting, breath awareness, body scan, and emotional awareness intended to induce a meditative state of consciousness and completely relax the body. Studies indicate this practice can ease insomnia, decrease anxiety, increase focus and transform negative habits and thoughts. 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra can feel like four hours of restful sleep to the body and mind. Family Yoga

Family yoga is very special; it is a rare opportunity for both parents and children to observe and learn from each other and a great way to bridge the huge age difference between them.

In Family Yoga we are connecting with each other, we share, we work together and we learn from each other. It can get loud and crazy and then peaceful and quiet. There is dancing, yoga journeys and so much more!
